Asset Mapping
The work of fostering belonging (sometimes called DEI or cultural competency/humility) is not something that can be conveyed by watching a video. Only by seeing ourselves in a local, historical context can we achieve meaningful community impact.
Whether as workshop or a background assessment, asset mapping is more interactive yet less fraught, placing the team you have in conversation with the region you serve. By confronting our understanding of the places where we live and work, we humanize our neighbors and recognize the relationships between their challenges and our own.
