Know Where You Grow.

Outreach and engagement strategies often falter because they begin with a destination in mind rather than an understanding of the journey.

When you're handling complex, intimate community challenges, precision is much more important than breadth. Whether you are trying to inform an insular neighborhood about available services, build a coalition around community care, or create a space for underrepresented team members. it is important to approach your audience with clarity about who you are, what you have to offer, and what you're ready to learn from others.

My approach maps out relevant networks to build upon your strengths and then approach new partnerships with humility and openness. Any true collaboration cannot be one way, but I can prepare your team to listen better with localized historical and demographic context, sensitivity training that goes much deeper than a checklist of "words you're not allowed to say," internal reviews to help better align your practices and values, and my resourceful network of both academic and lived experiences.
