NEWS

Sherman High School reverses course after protests over cuts to the musical Oklahoma! silenced a transgender teen. (I highly recommend watching video from the School Board hearing.)

MAP's Under Fire report series on legislation hostile to LGBTQ+ folks in the U.S. Meanwhile, this report by the Williams Institute traces the impact on trans teens and the It Gets Better Project is boosting teenager comments on how to support LGBTQ+ youth.

Local coverage of the impact of dementia on LGBTQ+ aging from one of the most supportive towns in the country.

The U.S. Census reports that same-sex partnerships are more likely to be interracial than the general population, but in Texas and other states there are fears that LGBTQ+ adults are severely undercounted.
